Internationales Lernen für Pädagog/inn/en
Ziel des internationalen Lernens für Pädagog/inn/en ist es, einen regelmäßigen Austausch der Pädagog/inn/en des Produktiven Lernens zu ermöglichen, sich gemeinsam weiterzubilden und voneinander zu lernen, das Produktive Lernen weiter zu entwickeln und Pädagog/inn/en europaweit bei der Initiierung von Projekten Produktiven Lernens zu unterstützen.
Da das internationale Lernen ein integrierter und verpflichtender Teil des Weiterbildungsstudiums zum Pädagogen/zur Pädagogin des Produktiven Lernens ist, werden die vom IPLE und INEPS angebotenen Aktivitäten in diesem Bereich intensiv genutzt. Es handelt(e) sich um folgende Angebote:

Kongresse des International Network of Productive Learning Projects and Schools (INEPS)
Das IPLE unterstützt international die Entwicklung des Produktiven Lernens und fördert die Vernetzung der Projekte Produktiven Lernens im International Network of Productive Learning Projects and Schools (INEPS). In diesem Netzwerk haben sich Schulen und außerschulische Einrichtungen aus etwa 15 europäischen Ländern und den USA versammelt, tauschen regelmäßig in Kongressen und Seminaren ihre Erfahrungen aus und führen Austauschprogramme für Schüler/innen und Pädagog/inn/en durch. Die gemeinsame Methodik und insbesondere die Praxis der Schüler/innen bilden die pädagogische Brücke, die es auch ermöglicht, Sprachschwierigkeiten zu überwinden.
Das International Network of Productive Learning Projects and Schools begann 1990 mit der Durchführung von internationalen Kongressen, die das Netzwerk organisatorisch weiterentwickelten und die Integration der beteiligten Partnereinrichtungen und Länder stabilisierten. Die INEPS-Kongresse sind die zentralen Veranstaltungen des Netzes. Sie dienen dem jährlichen Treffen aller INEPS-Mitglieder mit dem Ziel des Austausches, der Bestandsaufnahme und der Planung der Aktivitäten im internationalen Produktiven Lernen. Der wechselnde Veranstaltungsort ermöglicht jeweils intensivere Einblicke in die Arbeit eines Projektpartners und gibt Impulse zu ihrer Weiterentwicklung.
Die Kongresse haben sich bis heute als ein Ort der Bildungsinnovation erwiesen, der neue Interessent/inn/en anzieht und für die Qualitätssicherung und -steigerung des Produktiven Lernens ebenso wichtig ist wie für die Pflege der persönlichen Kontakte zwischen den Pädagog/inn/en der INEPS-Projekte.

Internationale Seminare für Pädagog/inn/en des Produktiven Lernens
Seit Beginn des Projektes Produktives Lernen an Berliner Schulen (PLEBS) im Jahr 1996 wurden die Kongresse um zwei- bis dreimal im Jahr stattfindende Internationale Seminare des IPLE ergänzt. Sie sind, wie die INEPS-Kongresse, Bestandteil des Weiterbildungsstudiums des IPLE. Die Seminare ermöglichen eine regelmäßige Kommunikation und inhaltliche Vertiefung der für die Methodik des Produktiven Lernens relevanten Themen.
Der kleinere Rahmen der Seminare bietet Gelegenheit zur Qualifizierung der Pädagog/inn/en, die selbst maßgeblich an der Vorbereitung der Seminare beteiligt sind.

EUROPLE
Neun Institutionen des Internationalen Netzes Produktiver Bildungsprojekte und Schulen (INEPS) aus Finnland, Griechenland, Ungarn, Frankreich, Portugal und Deutschland haben von 2005 – 2007 das von der Europäischen Union geförderte Projekt "EUROPLE" (Socrates-Programm) durchgeführt.
Mit EUROPLE wurden die folgenden Ziele verfolgt:

Im Rahmen des Projektes wurden in internationaler Kooperation drei Seminare für Lehrer/innen aus der EU und der Türkei vorbereitet, durchgeführt und evaluiert. Themen dieser Seminare waren:
